FULLER BUS SERVICES STAKES
One Red Thong (7) possesses brilliant early speed and from box 7 looks set to lead them a merry dance once again. Stone Arch (3) is a prolific winner over longer distances but can show pace. Is resuming and will be crashing across to the rails but could sprint well fresh. Clappin' Bear (4) was placed here last week behind One Red Thong and should get a good run across from Stone Arch on her inside while Do Ya Block (1) could be placed off the inside.

CARTERS CANINE CAPERS MAIDEN
The box draw throws this right open. Would like to tip Star Miranda however Knocka Strike on her outside will crash across her at the start. Without any confidence I will select the entire inside division but there is no science to these selections. Selecting dogs 1,2 and 3 but in no particular order. Throw in number 7 Star Miranda in case she jumps well. Too hard.

COUTTS CROSSING GENERAL STORE
Retro Night (3) looks to be boxed to get the fly once again and should go close after her all the way 17.79sec win last week. This is no harder. Nagy Drew (4) won her maiden at big odds last start in 17.83sec but will need to hold Retro Night out to beat her. Don't be surprised if Bliss Blaster (8) causes a boil over in this. Has won here in 17.73sec, looks to be well drawn and should be good odds with her recent form being disappointing over 407m. Throw in Blown Torana (1) for 4th.

LJ HOOKER REAL ESTATE MAIDEN
With a clear run Glenayson (4) wins this easily. Won a Perf Trial here in 23.29sec and her opposition cannot get near that. He looks a good thing. Ayar (2) ran 2nd to Glenayson on that occasion but was beaten 7lens but still looks the second pick. Dinjerra Cash (5) will show pace from his draw and could be placed while Billy Rumbo (8) won a Perf Trial at Casino in only moderate time but could be well drawn out wide.

RACE 6

WESTLAWN FINANCE 0-1 WIN STAKES
Capital Countess (7) has been a real enigma for connections as she can run but has only won 1 from 17. Give her one more chance in a race which suits. Tranquil Go To (6) finished well when winning over 407m in 23.50sec last week and should run the 480m out ok. Dinjerra Style (3) looks to be the early leader and should be in the finish while Three's A Cloud (2) can also show some pace and is suited by the draw.

PHIL MCLENNAN EARTHMOVING STAKE
Can't go past the form of Call Of Silence (7) in this. Is racing in brilliant fashion with a recent 22.89sec win to his name. Great 2nd to Scissor Queen last week in the best of the day and should win this. Blue Style Ode (6) also has a last start 2nd to Scissor Queen to his credit when beaten just 0.5lens in 23.09sec and he should be in the finish. Curly Trick (3) is another with ability winning 2 of his only 3 starts with a best of 23.02sec but it is hard to see him leading the above mentioned duo. Throw in Nancy Trick (1) for 4th in what is a good race.

RACE 8

JACK DEMMERY BUS SERVICES STAKE
Tetsuya (2) is drawn to run a cheeky race in this despite recent form being below his best. Did show good speed in his races at Lismore and could show up here. Tranquil Zac (7) got home at decent odds last week when finishing well but is still learning. Recorded 23.56sec but can go much quicker, could go on with it now. Elite Within (6) is a last start winner here in 23.50sec and does have some claim while Cold Comfort (5) does appear to have ability off his runs at Lismore and Casino and could be better suited to this track.

NYMBOIDA COACHING STATION STAKE
Very hard to separate runners 1,6,7,8 in this. Although she is stepping up to 480m for the first time Scissor Queen (8) was devastating over 407m last week when running a brilliant 22.85sec in the driving rain. She is well drawn, should get to the front at some stage but can she hold on as she will be feeling it at the finish. Elly Mae Trick (1) has a very similar racing pattern and will be prominent all the way. Choose Me (7) and Captive (6) are the strong dogs who will be finishing on but can they stay in touch early.

COUTTS CROSSING TAVERN STAKES
Dinjerra Cash (4) is the likely leader in this field and has done so when finishing 2nd at his past 2 here in around the 23.50sec mark. Gets his chance to open his account today. Have a bit of an opinion of Viper Room (6) and he looks suited better to 407m after finishing on well for 3rd in a 305m race last week and also for 2nd in a 305m Perf Trial prior. Should finish on well with a clear run. Miss Mindy Trick (7) found plenty of trouble last week and will go better in this while Mr. Octane (3) should show speed.
4-6-7-3

CLARENCE VALLEY SHEDS 0-1 WIN STAKES
Will select Imposing Fantasy (8) based on breeding being by Premier Fantasy and Demand. Only had 1 run when unplaced at Townsville and is now in the strong Dave Irwin kennel. Likewise on breeding Tahini (4) could run a race and last start finished on ok for 3rd over 420m at Lismore and could be suited here. Throw in the 5th graders Tranquil Revenge (1) Stay Thristy (5) for the minors. Not a lot of depth in this.

RACE 12
|
VILLAGE GREEN HOTEL STAKES
Despite the fact he appears to be better drawn wide Moe Trick (1) looks clearly the one to beat. Has won 2 of his 3 starts with a best of 23.25sec in the rain last week. Box 1 is a question mark as he has been drawn wide at each of his starts to date but is promising. Gogo Blaster (8) recorded 23.25sec when winning off box 1 2 runs back before midfield behind Curly Trick last week. Vategem (2) can show very good speed and with a lack of it in this race should nearly lead early and is not out of it while Sliced Steel (7) will run on.
1-8-2-7
|
SINGHS BUS SERVICES STAKES
Bit Breezy (6) was quite impressive when winning at Lismore 3 runs back in 24.57sec when finishing nicely. Forget her past 2 at Albion Park when unplaced. This track should suit and in a suitable race Bit Breezy should go close. While Banjo Valley (4) has only finished midfield at his last four starts he did win here in 23.48sec early December and that is good enough for a hope in this. Rev Nev (3) has plenty of pace but the 407m could test on the sand while Midnight Drinks (2) has a place chance.
